Cheer News
-The cheerleaders had a very
successful cheer camp. The girls
worked hard all week and learned 15
new chants, 7 new cheers, and 2
new stunts. They showed off their
new routines at the parent
performance on Thursday. The girls
recieved many compliments on their
outstanding performance. Practices
have been scheduled for August
10th and 12th from 5:30-7 at Donnie
Bickham. Girls: check your
calendars for uniform information.
-Thank you to all the parents who
volunteered their time and used
items for our garage sale. It was a
huge success!

HUGE success! Thank you to
everyone for your support! A
special thank you also goes out to
Mrs. Herbert for organizing this
event.
-Summer practice will take place
every Tuesday and Thursday
evening from 5:30 pm - 6:45 pm in
the DBMS gym until school begins.
Attendance is mandatory is dress
code will be strongly enforced.

all practices. NO JEWELRY IS TO
BE WORN!
- Our first performance will be at
the Open House on Sunday,
August 15th. A letter will be sent
home at the beginning of August
with more information. There is a
possibility that we may schedule
an additional practice on if needed.
- We will have a brief parent
meeting on Thursday, July 29th at
6:45 pm in the student center to
discuss upcoming events. It is
very important that each member
have a responsible family member
present.
- August calendars will be issued
on Thursday, July 29th.
- Performance and Game Day
Uniforms will be issued on
Tuesday, August 10th. Shoes will
be issued as soon as they arrive.

dealing with the late arrivals.
